HUSH Festival™

Speaker Applications

If the world isn’t talking about it, we are!

HUSH Festival™ is not your polished, PR-friendly, predictable, online summit.

This is where women speak about the things that usually stay hidden.

The messy things.

The taboo things.

The life-changing things.

The things women whisper about behind closed doors.

Google in secret, cry about quietly, or carry alone because they think they are the only one.

They are not.

And that is why HUSH exists.

This is a call for the women who are ready to say the thing.

Not perfectly. Not performatively.
Not with a fake smile and a “5 steps to fix your life” presentation.

Honestly. Powerfully. Humanly.

If you have a story, perspective, body of work, lived experience, professional wisdom, creative medicine, or unexpected angle that belongs in a conversation women are starving to hear, you may belong on the HUSH stage.

HUSH is for the conversations women are not supposed to have.

We talk about infidelity. Abuse. Divorce. Grief. Death.
Mental health. Menopause. Desire. Addiction. Body image.
Identity. Motherhood. Betrayal. Burnout. Sex.
Shame. Power. Silence. Survival.

And yes, we also make room for the lighter voices too.

Not every speaker needs to crack open the earth.

Some women bring softness.
Some bring humour.
Some bring colour, creativity, woo, wildness, wisdom, play, beauty, embodiment, or unexpected joy.

HUSH is heavy enough to matter.
And human enough to breathe.

This is not just another online festival.

HUSH is a confidential, carefully held space.

Women can attend without having to explain which conversation they came for.

They can blend in.

They can listen quietly.

They can receive what they need without announcing their pain to the world.

That matters.

Some women will never ask for help out loud.

So we create the room anyway.

Why is there a speaker contribution?

HUSH is curated, held, promoted, organised, protected, and intentionally built.

This is not a free-for-all stage.

The $97 speaker contribution helps support the creation of the festival space, the promotional ecosystem, the speaker experience, and the ongoing visibility of HUSH as a movement.

It also keeps the room intentional.

This is for women who understand the value of the platform, the audience, the conversation, and the responsibility of speaking inside a space like this.

Who should apply?

Apply if you are a woman with something real to say.

You may be a coach, healer, therapist, artist, advocate, mentor, expert, survivor, professional, storyteller, creator, educator, rebel, guide, or woman with lived experience that could help another woman feel less alone.

You do not need to have a massive following.

You do not need to be famous.

You do not need to have a perfect speaker bio.

You DO need to have integrity.

You need to understand the sensitivity of the space.

And you need to care about the women who may be listening quietly on the other side of the screen.

This may be for you if…

You speak about something women are often too afraid, ashamed, or exhausted to say out loud.

You bring a perspective that could shift the way women see themselves, their bodies, their relationships, their choices, their grief, their power, or their future.

You know your voice could be the one a woman has been waiting to hear.

You can hold depth without drowning people in it.

You can speak truth without turning it into a performance.

You are willing to be real.

This may NOT be for you if…

You are looking for a quick visibility grab.

You want to pitch for 30 minutes.

You cannot respect confidentiality.

You are not willing to be curated.

You lack compassion and empathy.

You need the space to revolve around you.

Or you are uncomfortable with honest, taboo, nuanced, human conversations.

HUSH is not about ego.

It is about impact.

Some women will arrive at HUSH because they need your exact voice.

Even if they don’t know it yet.

They may come for one conversation and accidentally find the one that changes everything.

They may listen with the camera off.

They may never comment.

They may never tell you what your words meant.

But they will hear you.

And sometimes, that is enough to interrupt years of silence.

Apply to Speak at HUSH Festival™

If you feel the pull, apply.

If your topic feels too taboo, too tender, too strange, too bold, too niche, or too “who the hell would want to hear this?”

THAT may be exactly why it belongs here.

HUSH was built for the conversations nobody is having loudly enough.

Final note from Annie

HUSH is a safe, confidential, carefully held space.

For that reason, I reserve the right to accept or decline speaker applications based on energetic fit, topic alignment, audience safety, and the integrity of the festival.

This is not about exclusion.

It is about protection.

Because the women who enter this space deserve to feel safe enough to listen, soften, exhale, and maybe even begin again.

With courage, attitude, and zero f*cking apologies,
Annie Boon
